Sixteen meetings later, I was told that either “you need to get a biz dev guy” or “ETS has no moat”. Either way, it hit hard and I was devastated. I drowned. That was last October, right in time for the crypto winter...

Even though I was spent, I still had the gut feeling there was “something” to the concept of a decentralized tagging layer. So, in the interest of survival, rather than throwing away three years of work, I open sourced everything, wrote up some docs, and put the project on the back burner...

The path forward for ETS remains unclear. I’m out of funds, hesitant to re-engage with VCs and unsure of the next move. That said, I love this community. I’m inspired by the bleeding edge spirit and happy to meet with anyone and demo what ETS can do. Please reach out if you're curious.
