Continuing what’s become a bit of a purple streak, this piece shines in the way the paint strokes are made. The individual bristles of the brush are represented. The slight color mixing that happens as you use the same brush in multiple spots too. So purple!

An otherworldly scene with lots of depth. It’s the excellent use of light on the peaks and valleys in the lower right that does that.

The patterns on the red orb are mysterious. What are we looking at exactly, one wonders.
