Ethereal Forest would like to introduce Fun DAO, a local onboarding project where community members can join their first DAO, meet some friends, and plan a monthly event using a revolving set of web3 tools for high-fidelity, direct democracy. 1/x

Fun DAO started its first cycle in January, where we experimented with @jokerace_io to decide on our first outing, a trip to Oregon Contemporary to see an art show about hyperobjects (followed by a pub to play pinball & celebrate).

The process was a success, with multiple community members onboarding to their first self-custody wallet, many joining their first DAO, and all of us using @jokerace for the first time. 🎉

Our next month's experiment will be with @generalmagic ‘s pairwise vote tool.  📲

Best of all, while Fun DAO PDX's on-chain membership is 10, 15 showed up, some of whom were psyched about the concept but didn't have the practical knowledge to sign up.

To remedy this, Ethereal Forest is setting up monthly onboarding hours at Bridgespace PDX.
