Even as investors from Hitech Hyderabad accounted for 5.1% of investments in cryptocurrency after Delhi NCR (20.1%), Bengaluru (9.6%), and Mumbai (6.5%), crypto trading platform CoinSwitch's annual investor report ‘India's Crypto Portfolio 2024: How India Invests' highlighted trend.
The city also boasts the highest ratio of women crypto investors at 45% in country and has the third-highest percentage of portfolios in green, with 84% of city-based investors seeing positive returns among top 10 crypto cities. When it comes to Hyderabadi investors, large caps accounted for 42% of portfolios.
