/ Extraordinary week ahead, but let's take a moment to recall the key Ethereum updates from the past one! Dencun upgrade on the Ethereum mainnet is scheduled on March 13, epoch 269568.

/ Everstake has successfully upgraded whole ETH stack to versions compatible with the Dencun fork: all Geth- and Nethermind-operated validators, Beacon nodes, and validator clients, as well as MEV-boost nodes, are now ready. If you're running a validator, upgrade your nodes. If you're a staker, no action is needed.

/ Goerli has not been finalized since March 6. There was a mass slashing of Nimbus nodes on the Goerli, which triggered the bug when Prysm thought the epoch would justify, but it didn't. Have a gut feeling, we wonβt see it finalized before it shutdown. https://twitter.com/eth_everstake/status/1765419163877577096

/ Blobs are coming this Wednesday, and everyone is trying to predict the impact on the L2s transaction costs. Play with the saving estimator from @Optimism, https://welovetheblobs.xyz/, or check @LouthingE's pinned post to see the cost reduction it may bring.

/ In just 13 minutes, an $8.75 million loss occurred during the WOOFi exploit. The exploit involved using a series of flash loans to manipulate WOO's price in a low liquidity scenario, allowing the attacker to repay the loans at a lower cost. 7/ No single week with no news from SEC. This time maybe a positive one, as #SEC has ceased and desisted against Shape Shift, although some SEC Republican members dissent in a very posh and metaphorical manner: https://www.sec.gov/news/statement/peirce-uyeda-statement-a-crypto-world-turns-03-06-24
