did you know peru is home to the International Potato Center where they have a gene bank that stores the seeds of 9,000+ potato species

they also have another seed vault in the andes that the indigenous communities take care of in an effort to also preserve potato diversity in living plants and not just frozen storage

but if you want to get REALLY serious about potato/seed conservation, then norway's Svalbard Seed Vault is the way to go

Building @warpcast and @farcaster, new dad, like making food

I also use nvim but without any copilot. My flow currently is if I feel proficient at the task at hand I just use nvim but if I’m somewhat shaky I immediately switch to cursor.

There are ways to integrate AI into nvim I just haven’t felt the need to do so. The option to switch between the two systems is nice.

Have you tried out Cursor (or other AI-powered editors)? I didn’t feel like productivity was improving much until I did so. The UX is seamless now between quickly interfacing with an LLM in the sidebar then applying changes.
