Not common, but accessible. Usually when you cross smaller roads near the atlantic forest there is people selling native varieties of fruits by the road, thats how I bought this one. In Brazil there are varieties of banana other than Cavendish being sold in the supermarket but still this isnt something u see everyday

that is so cool. I feel like in general, we have really lost the plot on the value of biodiversity and variety - at least in the USA. the small farmers and gardeners understand and appreciate it, though.
