ha haa, it fits perfectly. The magic of old comedy is very different. It feels much more chill and intelligent. I saw this in the comments too, it seemed like Eddie has a Monty Python-like vibe.

Have seen him live twice. Two hour shows in both cases and in both was in pain from laughter. He never mentions Python, but he is a big fan on the father of British comedy: Spike Milligan, who was the creator and writer of The Goon Show. It was a BBC radio program in the 1950's. It was a consistent cast and one of its members was Peter Sellars.
