imagine you have to memorise 40 pages of someone’s code and then perform it in front of 2100 people. this is my reality for november. I’ll be sharing some of the process here. the main goal is to memorize it so it feels like you wrote it yourself.

Totally, but it's a type of memory that you can't consciously explain. Muscle memory is a type of procedural memory that allows our bodies to perform physical tasks automatically, without needing to consciously think through each step. In fact, if you learn it with your right hand, it won’t work for your left hand ;)

It’s a form of implicit memory that, while stored in the brain, feels as if it’s “memorized” in the muscles because our conscious attention isn’t actively involved in the process.
