This piece examines the volatile, exploitative landscape of the memecoin frenzy, specifically focusing on 420 tokens launched through pumpdotfun that soared to fleeting highs before collapsing. Drawing on data extracted via a Python script from Solscan’s public APIs, each jagged, vertical bar charts the entire lifecycle of a token’s market capitalization—from its speculative peak to the inevitable crash toward zero. In visualizing these extreme fluctuations, Monster exposes the chaotic interplay of greed, hype, and loss, serving as both critique and reflection of a digital era defined by unbridled speculation, where ambition and deception collide in the relentless pursuit of fleeting wealth.
