Who's building the decentralized video sharing protocol + platform?

Twitter is to Farcaster + Warpcast/Supercast/etc as Youtube is to ???

Video is such an important vector for free speech in today's media ecosystem and that's not changing any time soon

We need protocols. Protocols foster competition by freeing users from platforms. Protocolize everything

Like it's crazy that Youtube has such unilateral control over our content and its distribution

Generally it feels like a pretty great product to me, so the competitive benefits of disrupting the monopoly feel less salient than with something like twitter, but the introduction of real competition might reveal to us things we didn't even know we were missing out on. And the concerns for varying degrees of censorship on Youtube and platforms of its kind are real
