Nouns has funded over $15,000,000 in passed proposals in a little over ~12 months. Many of which are on streams, coming out of the remaining 9 million... *Think about that*

It's time to start funding things that last a lifetime, before its too late. 

Not saying we need to fund a giant gnome (yes- bummed over the outcome here)... but IMO, we need to consider how we spend and not just rely on vanity metrics to justify large asks that last 1-year and come back for more as soon as funding is up.

I love the ambition and intention of building with lasting impact. The problem I see in the space currently is that we are so protective of fictional runways that there is no space for innovation. We need to redefine our understanding of what a "lasting" project looks like. 

Forever is a long time..

Lol maybe.. tell that to the dudes who built the pyramids. Are we building things that will have a lasting impact or just our friends as we race to zero?
