random tip for anyone who wants overhead lighting but find most lightbulbs too harsh-

consider getting half-chrome lightbulbs! they are essentially lightbulbs w the bottom half coated in chrome (silver or gold)

Wait. Does this mean that I didn’t need to get rid of my Arco floor lamp afterall 😭. The overhead light made me so unhappy I just got rid of it.
