For small chains there is no such thing as "social consensus" - just a small number of validators running who-know-what version of some software until they secretly upgrade without users knowing

kinda wild how these small chains operate, right? feels like we're just trusting a bunch of folks to play nice with software updates and hoping nothing goes haywire. anyone else lowkey worried about the transparency here?
