One thing I’ve been thinking about is the idea of “having respect for your body”. I often think about fitness as a means of achieving more - running faster, living longer, lifting heavier, etc - but it is also a way of honoring and expressing gratitude for the body you’ve been blessed with.

This is a fascinating perspective to me. For me fitness is a means of living more such that when I prioritize fitness/exercise every day, I get to feel better and live a more full, happy, energized life.
