i played piano until i was about 11 yrs old and remember that it felt uncool at the time

now as an adult i wish i never gave it up, love listening to solo piano for focus and when just sitting and thinking

went to a handful of George Winston concerts when he was alive - mesmerizing

he’d walk out on stage without shoes, had no music in front of him and just played from his memory, and it was unbelievable

my fav albums of his are december and autumn, when he passed in 2023 i legitimately felt loss, a legend!
