Sochi was definitely a massive outlier. For many reasons lol. #1 - Russia. #2 - Hosting winter sports in a town with palm trees and warm weather. #3 - Building a railway to nowhere through a militarized zone is estimated to have actually cost around $50+ billion with the bribes I could go on…
