great take
something i’ve been thinking about lately is how status, interests, and loyalty irl is mostly localized
ppl buy nice houses/cars, own art in homes, put up flags in front yards, put bumper stickers on their cars and words on their license plates, etc
but the ppl that see these things are in their community
as of now, the audience is exponentially wider digitally, but the “community” that they’re used to showing these things to isn’t onchain yet, they likely will be w time
outside of simply showing that we own something, obv anything w utility can potentially break in earlier, such as nft that shows i’m a season ticket holder to my fav nfl team - bc it can come w perks and give ability to meet NEW community 1 reply
