and it’s not close

investor, photographer, nomad, exploring onchain & exploring the 🌎 /positivesum

also the mental model for a “social network” will change w time

fc looks more like an economy, where participation rates are incredibly high, conversation is 2 sided, and collaboration is common

some thoughts

from builder side:
on other social networks the company that controls the social graph captures the vast majority of the incentives - on fc, as the social graph grows the incentive to build on fc grows w it

from user side:
bc users own their identity and any builder/company/etc can reward any community/individual with ease via connected wallets, we see a much higher percentage of incentives flowing to the users creating the content - leading to ppl earning many multiples what they would earn elsewhere

in short, fc being open to build on top of paired w user ownership makes all the difference - and i know there is still some work to make the above even better
