ITAP of the Teatro Romano in Trieste. More than 2,000 years old, it was somehow lost for a while, then re-discovered in 1814 and unearthed in 1938. The vibes are epic in person ✨

fascinating that these places were buried or built on top off, very similar situation in plovdiv bulgaria where the main street is literally built over a 30k seat roman chariot racing track, discovered in the 1950s i think
