Seeing picks like this, and of mountains etc it’s so hard to imagine earth being smoother than a cue ball. Have you seen that interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson and Joe Rogan?

He said the difference between the highest peaks and the lowest valleys on earth is 12.3 miles, and taking into account earths circumference, if a giant finger was to rub across earths surface it would be smoother than a cue ball
