the teatro di marcello on the left was completed in 13 BC, could seat around 20k ppl

in medieval times around the 1500s the orsini family built a palace on top of the theatre

then in the 19th century they split up the palace into apartments, and they’re still private apartments today

made me think how long it’ll take before they don’t let ppl live up there anymore, my guess is they’re worth many millions
