A year ago, I launched /itookaphoto as a place anyone can cast their best photos. My buddy and talented photographer, @jonathancolton, joined me as the channel's co-host. A cooler name than mod. 🤣 JC went on to build some of the best channels on WC - /nature, /lightchasers and /positivesum. As @dwr.eth put it, to launch a channel you must fan the flames of a small campfire. We did tons of outreach. Degen was blowing up and that helped get photographers interested in casting. Valentine's Day 1mil explosion! Fun contests! Many Rounds helped the fire grow to get us to the top of the channel leaderboard. But MOST importantly, lots of talented photographers - amateurs and professionals - casted and created a welcoming environment to share art. Over time, I launched /itookavideo, /aitookaphoto and /itookaselfie and others! Fun channels without a crypto focus. I am fortunate to have built these channels with all of you! First time i joined the channel because of @eriks i saw his great posts on the channel and after it became a ritual to post on /itookaphoto , great idea 🤝✨️
