The clearing price rises due to amount of bids?

Yeah. It's a price discovery process that figures out how much people will pay for the token.

As people bid higher amounts, the clearing price adjusts accordingly to prioritize filling those orders.

Lower bids must adjust to at least the clearing price or get nothing.
