I can so feel that guy...I travelled alone a lot when I was younger and never feel lonesome. There's something very comforting being with yourself and enjoying the peace...

Ah mate, thank you. ANd yes I agree - my parents have a print of it in their house and whenever I see it I interpret it differently. I loved how during the 5 nights that I spent in Paris that trip this old dude was there every night, always alone, enjoying his nightcap
