This photo was shot by my grandfather Marcel De Baer.
He was a forensic expert specialised in road accidents.
He worked in the 60ies and 70ies and documented approximately 4000 accidents.

His photos were purely utilitarian.
As a kid I used to join him from time to time.
I came upon the archive and am now the curator of his work.

This particular one is part of a huge collection but a very rare one as it has three unique features (only one photo with this combination).

It's one of my favourites from the collection.
