My Cross to Bear

Stereotypes, false values, norms, prejudices, criticism, self-criticism, and childhood traumas—nail after nail, they create a massive cross that must be carried. I do not believe that destiny sends us trials or that everything that happens is fate. We build this cross ourselves. And I intend to cast it off.

Thank you so much 🙏 . As for me, I still haven't dropped that cross, haha. For some reason I feel like I have to go through suffering for something that doesn't even depend on me.
