This morning, I woke up feeling like I was getting sick and asked to work from home. Iām really against people coming to the office while sick and spreading it to their colleagues. But at the same time, I feel this strange guilt because itās "just my throat" and "a headache." And if I take sick leave, I almost feel relieved when my temperature starts to go up, as if itās proof Iām not faking it. So here I am at home, monitoring my symptoms - but hey, at least I can took a selfie between calls!

I totally understand that feeling. It's tough when you're not feeling 100%, but it's still "just" something minor like a throat issue or headache, and you start questioning whether it's enough to justify taking the day off. Itās so considerate of you to stay home and not risk spreading anything to your colleagues. Your health is the priority, and sometimes itās okay to take a step back, even if itās just to rest and recover, even if it feels a bit guilty at first.
