Louis Chevrolet (December 25, 1878 - June 6, 1941) was a Swiss-American automobile driver who founded the Chevrolet automobile company in 1911. A year later, he founded the Frontenac Motor Company. He died completely bankrupt and was a mechanic in the factory he had founded.
