sup fubs microsoft uptaking a google language is interesting imo also wondering on the latter if it's just cause polars has python bindings but has a rust implementation kek polars <> pandas popularity -> shapes relative taste

Yeah, that's super bizarre to take up Go like that I mean more how it feels to read and write it. Python/Rust feels more orderly and structured, everything is based on a type and its all very type-forward (although all of my Python is typed), whereas Go/JS (and even TS) feels more chaotic and freewheeling, even though you can write schemas and stuff it's not quite so orderly
