Two things are often mistakenly seen as obsession: a love for learning and passion. The dopamine from learning and interests brings joy. Using Vygotsky's concept of the Zone of Proximal Development to foster learning and interests can lead to a sense of fulfillment, encouraging continuous effort. Those who persevere through challenges and those who find joy in the same activity are never on the same level. The former struggles to understand the latter's "obsession," which is simply a source of dopamine for others.
