So my question is: What do we think are the most compelling stories of web3/crypto, at the application / consumer layer that we can point to **today**? I don't mean ones that will appeal to builders or investors. I mean ones that will appeal to regular people, and most importantly, politicians. /fin

Whenever talking to "regular people" which is basically my whole family (abt 30 ppl i see often). I get a sense of the web3 things that appeal to them. For my nephew it's being able to use digital assets across multiple gaming titles. For my bond-broker cousin, he's very interested in NFTs and real estate. More ⬇

BUT most are still trying to wrap their head around crypto currency (in general) so web3 is absolutely a foreign language to them at this point. they hear about the millions people make selling cartoon monkeys. and that's the primary narrative. that said, NFT tickets / concert collectibles seem the easiest to digest.
