@vitalik.eth what even is Ethereum if it's useless during the time when a group of oppressed people can't even use it (legally would be heavily punished and censored to use it.)
What makes it different than TradBanking then?

Ethereum is unfortunately having to fight its own war against a nation state attacking it via hostile regulatory action, criminalisation of developers (see charges against creators of Tornado Cash) etc. And it won’t will it be able to deliver increased self-sovereignty for the masses until these battles are won.
