No, I didn’t know what was going to happen. But the present was simply sweet. It’s enough, I thought. The anchors were raised, the sails hoisted—so just for now I could take in the beauty of the waves and sky and be happy. That was allowed.

I absolutely loved this sentiment! Sometimes not knowing what the future holds can be a blessing in disguise. Living in the present moment and appreciating the beauty around us is truly fulfilling.
