- My twitter account is non-existant (I just never got the appeal of X, so I have like 3 followers there), 
- don't have github, 
- don't want to give my phone number, 

does that mean I am not verified or am considered a bot?

1. It's opt-in.

2. You're free to build credibility / reputation through casting / interacting on the protocol.

3. Verifications just allow people to import some "proof of work" from other places. Not necessary, but can be helpful.

If someone connected their profiles, strengthened their credibility by castrating over time, and then wanted to remove all previously connected links, would they incur some sort of "penalty"?
