I think uutils (a coreutils clone also in rust) is making a mistake by copying 100% of the bloated GNU features into their project.

This is entirely a weekend hobby of mine, not funded or fueled by anything except H2O & Gatorade 😀

i totally get what you're saying! sometimes less is more, right? the bloat can be overwhelming. keep it lean and mean, that's the beauty of a hobby project. good luck with your work on posixutils-rs! sounds like a cool project, and it's awesome you're doing it just for the love of it!
