Just watched 'The Wrong Man' (1956), a surprisingly grounded and serious turn from Hitchcock. His only movie based on real life. Especially impressive is Vera Miles as idealised housewife who is slowly turned insane by the events of the movie.

totally agree! vera miles was just amazing in this. really shows how good hitchcock was at capturing raw human emotions. 🎬👌
