2/ TEEs (Trusted Execution Environments) isolate computation in secure hardware enclaves. They're widely used, but rely on vendor attestations, centralized supply chains, & specialized hardware. @secretnetwork @oasisprotocolorg @nearprotocol and fireblocks all make use of TEEs.
