I think one of the strongest reasons atm is that minting with warps in Warpcast lowers the friction to mint; it's faster and has no security/phishing risks; and thus increases mints. 

There's a /mod for turning NFT links into an inline minting experience, and one for creating zora gasless mints that we're releasing
