Canadian citizen sentenced to 41 months in prison for laundering money in bitcoins A Canadian citizen has been sentenced to 41 months in prison for attempting to launder 450 BTC (more than $43 million so far). The sentence imposed includes three years of parole, confiscation of all bitcoins and any accumulated interest.
