The allure of randomness in generative art has become a significant distraction for me. In pursuing various possibilities, I often lost sight of my creative vision and the individualities of my own code. I've decided to shift my focus towards creating works with fewer editions and make the process more thoughtful and meaningful. My hope is that this approach will help me express my artistic intentions more precisely and let my work communicate more effectively.

Same here. I have a bunch of algo that will probably never be a good enough long-form generative art. But I honestly like the algo and where it’s going.
Working on the curation of a small set is always so intriguing.

Yeah, sometimes it’s just too sensitive for big random, so great to explore anyway:)
