One of the funniest fuck you things to me as an ex pat in Mexico is the McDonald’s helados stands - like in the US the ice cream machines are never working. Ever. Here they like don’t worry we got you fam ICE CREAM ONLY 😭🤣

I thought it was common all over the world but it makes sense that it would be something more popular here in Latam, a lot of people here don't eat Macdonalds, just ice cream, because we usually eat food like rice, beans, salad, meat, that kind of food. It's common around here to say that Macdonalds isn't "real food"

by the way, I don't agree with the concept of "real food" that we Brazilians have, I think that all food is real food hahahah this way of talking comes from older generations. For me, all food is sacred and I am grateful for anykind of food <3

fun fact: Macdonalds here is a little expensive, generally those who eat are from the middle class and upwards. eating the food I told you about is cheaper here than eating at Macdonalds.
