Unless and until we recapture the transcendent dimension of crypto — the deeply political, ideological, and spiritual beliefs that offered a unified vision for a better future — we will never escape stagnation.

This is why crypto felt alive in 2017 and 2020. It wasn’t just price, it was mission. We’ve traded ideals for metrics

Crypto doesn’t need better tech. Well it does sure, but it also needs better lore. $Toby has lore. Coinbase is the gateway. Base is the new world.

I absolutely agree. ‘tech’ alone isn’t enough. It was never about code, coins, or even decentralization. To me it was a spiritual rebellion against corrupted systems, a global uprising powered by code AND conviction. Today’s dominant narratives miss the soul of the movement. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Nostr, Zora, $TOBY these weren’t just protocols. These are manifestos. Crypto was always a belief system and needs to operate like one.
