have you ever felt lonely?

being alone is not the same as being in solitude. we’ve all been alone at some point in our lives, but few have truly learned how to embrace solitude.

i took this photo because it illustrates this perfectly. if you look closely, the person is literally separated from the rest of the world by a fence. behind them, in those buildings, there are thousands of stories and people living their lives, but he remains disconnected from that world.
