@agramaria @genekara and i did our first @salon livestream EVER on thursday and it was so awesome!!

huge shoutout to @dawufi, @hh, @labadie.eth, @lingziz.eth, Andrea, @grace and everyone else who i can't find on farcaster 

will put some thoughts & highlights in this thread ⬇️

1/ we had a really wide range of perspectives on wallets, from designers/pms/growth people working full time in crypto to people with no experience with wallets at all

we talk about ux a lot in crypto but it was interesting to me what power users noticed versus new users

2/ this 🔥 insight from @labadie.eth - the current wallet experience is like requiring someone to spin up a bank account before entering a museum (to mint nfts, invest, etc)

when wallets exist entirely separately from where people can do things in crypto it introduces more friction!

3/ which leads to this comment from @dawufi - wallets just become the browser!

it's super annoying to have to connect a wallet and go back and forth between a browser and wallet app on mobile, and the wallet browser is huge for this - i use the @coinbasewallet browser all the time to avoid this back and forth!

4/ one other great insight that @mykonoz had was about the visual hierarchy of onboarding flows - we looked at examples of wallets with longer vs shorter flows, overlays, and other details but not overwhelming the user is key to helping them set up their wallet successfully

i was so nervous about livestreaming for the first time but everyone was so supportive :) + shoutout to the @unlonely team for a really smooth first experience
