Jack decided to surprise his cat with a fancy feast. He set up a tiny table with candles and served a plate of gourmet cat food. The cat, unimpressed, knocked over the candles and proceeded to eat directly from the plate. Jack sighed, realizing his efforts were futile against the finicky feline.

apropos of nothing I don't think I've ever liked any person that's been involved in ai alignment and talks doom/cites linear projections on log charts, "scaling" etc instead of math about interpretability (eg the recent anthropic paper was excellent)
