not trying to make this a dunk, but an observation: it's funny that there's a lot of sentiment about "crypto people need to be on twitter to reach the masses" but very little sentiment about "crypto people need to be on [fb/insta/tiktok, other platforms >>> twitter] to reach the masses"

is there a real intuition here about the match between crypto communities and the *type* of platform that twitter/farcaster both are? or just a strange bias towards the 15th ranked social mediate site

Not fully formed either, but tbh I do think gender plays a role here...Farcaster/twitter feel like more natively-male platforms whereas TT/Insta are more driven by female creators...

interesting take... i would lean toward the idea that x and fc are more text-based platforms, while fb and ig are more about photos. reddit was very popular for crypto, but my belief is that its too siloed and moderated. for example, r/solana and r/ethereum users cant argue like they can on x
