Today's inspiration on Uncut immediately made me think of a mermaid trapped inside an aquarium for the amusement of others. A little sad, yes, but isn't that often the case? My sketchbook is about experimentation, color palettes, painting effects and letting the creativity flow, culminating in a collection of mini artworks. These pieces resulted from watercolor experimentation. I was creating a palette for abstract sunsets and the way these colors blended, they looked like couples to me.

"Secret Whisper" is from a small collection I've been working on. The pieces are inspired by little abstract acrylic paintings I did in my sketchbook. I loved this palette, and it made me think of new love and the secret feelings we have when the love has yet to be declared.
