In March 2024, Degen announced it was launching its own Layer 3 chain (on top of the Base Layer 2 chain), to provide social interactions between dApps. This coincided with the token surging to its record high of $0.064, which then prompted Coinbase to add it to its listing roadmap later on in the year. At present, it has a daily trading volume of $20 million and is a top 300 cryptocurrency. All in all, it has a market capitalization of $185.57M, at a current price of $0.010.

Aragorn is a Ranger of the North, first introduced with the name Strider and later revealed to be the heir of Isildur, an ancient King of Arnor and Gondor.
