In 1925, in the state of Illinois, USA, two men named Benjamin Holt and Daniel Best merged their companies, namely C.L. Best Tractor Company and Holt Manufacturing Company, to establish a brand under the name Caterpillar Inc.This paved the way for the beginning of the golden era of heavy machinery. /founders
